귀넷카운티가 렌트비와 유틸리비를 내지 못해 강제 퇴거 위기에 놓인 임차인들을 위해 2차 지원을 시작했습니다.

‘프로젝트 리셋 2.0’로 불리는 이 프로그램 실행을 위해서는 연방 경기부양금 2810만 달러가 투입될 예정입니다.

귀넷 정부는 앞서 1차 지원을 통해 1300건 이상의 강제 퇴거 사례를 중지시켜 총 3791명에게 도움을 주었습니다.

2차 지원은 특별히 중위권 소득계층 혹은 실직한 지 90일 이상 지난 가족 구성원들에 중점을 두고 있습니다.

지원금은 최대 12개월간 밀린 렌트와 유틸리티 비용을 포함해 현재는 물론 향후 일정 기간에 대한 렌트와 유틸리티 금액 지급에 사용됩니다.

신청 양식은 영어와 한국어, 스페인어, 중국어 등으로 제공되며 다른 언어 통역 서비스도 지원이 가능합니다.

신청서 접수는 카운티 웹사이트( gcga.us/rentalassistance)에서 할 수 있으며 대면 접수를 원하는 주민들은 평일 오전 8시부터 오후 5시까지 로렌스빌 ‘원 저스티스 스퀘어’ 빌딩(One Justice Square, 446 West Crogan St)을 직접 방문하면 됩니다.
