디캡카운티 선거국이 무료 유권자 ID 카드를 발급하고 있습니다.

이 카드는 운전면허증과 같이 유효한 신분증을 가지고 있지 못한 유권자들을 위한 것입니다.

조지아주 새 선거법에 따라 부재자 투표시 유권자들은 반드시 적법한 신분증을 제시해야만 합니다.

에리카 해밀턴 디캡 선거국 디렉터는 “조지아주 새 선거법 통과로 일부 유권자들은 기존과 다른 투표 방식을 경험할 수 있기 때문에 우리는 유권자들과 투표에 대한 경험을 나누기 위해 활발히 소통할 것”이라고 밝혔습니다.  이어 “적합한 ID 를 가지고 있지 못한 유권자들은 지금 유권자 ID 카드를 발급 받아 다음 선거에서 순조롭게 투표하길 바란다”고 당부했습니다.

무료 유권자 ID 카드를 발급 받고자 하는 주민들은 디케이터시 4380 메모리얼 드라이브 선상에 위치한 디캡 선거국을 방문하면 됩니다.

해당 ID 카드 발급을 위해서는 본인의 얼굴 사진이 부착된 증빙 서류 혹은 법적 풀네임, 생년월일, 유권자 등록 증명서, 거주지 증명서 등을 포함한 다른 서류를 제출해야합니다.

디캡 선거사무소 운영시간은 평일 오전 8시부터 오후 4시30분까지며 더 자세한 정보는 ‘디캡보츠닷컴(dekalbvotes.com)’을 참조하시기 바랍니다.
